All riders must wear an NYC Century Bike Tour Rider Bib and Rider Number to participate in the tour. These ensure that you can be identified as a participant in the event. Your NYC Century Bike Tour Rider Bib and Rider Number allow you to:
- Access rest stops
- Be identified by marshals and EMS as part of the tour
- Claim discounts at Bikes & Bites eateries
- Find professional photos of yourself taken during the ride
- Claim your t-shirt and water bottle at the finish line
If you register on August 19th or earlier, these items will be mailed to you the week of August 20th -- don’t forget to bring them with you on the morning of the tour! If you register on August 20th or later, you will have to check-in the morning of the tour to pick-up your rider bib and numbers.
*The numbers will easily peel off of your helmet after the event. Glass cleaner will remove any excess residue.
